Dear Students;
Today, competition among countries is maintained at the level of knowledge, and the future of societies is reckoned by the success of the education provided. In this sense, universities bear the responsibility of being the only institution that meets the educated labour force needs of the society as well as being science-producing centres.
Our faculty aims to contribute to the production of science and technology of wide interest, to raise engineers who are equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the era, who can solve problems, think analytically and who have the implementational skills. In the same direction, the faculty aims to support the technological development of our country in cooperation with the industry through cooperative actions.
In our faculty, education has been planned without compromising Bologna and MÜDEK criteria to ensure that our students are trained as engineers with the knowledge and application skills to meet the expectations of the business world including;
• Theoretical and practical lessons for 7 semesters at school,
• 1 semester practice in enterprises.
In this way, Engineering students studying at our Faculty will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills by reinforcing their knowledge and experience gained during their education with applied education in public / private institutions and organizations.
We look forward to have candidate students who are aware of the universal and social effects of engineering solutions and applications in terms of area-specific competence; who are aware of entrepreneurship and innovation, knowledgeable about contemporary issues and have a social and professional ethical awareness to study at the Faculty of Technology, which will raise them as engineers with the implementational skills needed in the business world.
My warm regards
Prof Dr Yusuf ÇAY
Dean of Faculty of Technology
